Sekali lagi, terima kasih Gayus Tambunan! Kita semua mesti berterima kasih pada pegawai Pajak golongan III A ini. Gara-gara aksinya terbongkar, semua mata kini memandang ke kasus penggelapan pajak yang menimpanya. 25 Milyar rupiah bukan jumlah yang sedikit. Apalagi dimiliki seorang pegawai negeri sipil yang gaji per bulan plus tunjangan ini itu 12 jutaan.

Berterima kasihlah pada Gayus. Karena berkat jasanya lah kasus Century jadi temaram. Siapa yang peduli dengan kasus 6,7 trilyun yang tak jelas kemana itu. Setidaknya kini media massa ramai-ramai berdendang lagu GAYUS. Lupakan huru hara di panggung paripurna DPR bulan lalu. Lupakan pula rekomendasi yang meminta penon aktifan dua petinggi negara, Wapres Boediono dan Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani.

Kini arahkan pandangan kita pada rumah megah Gayus di Kelapa Gading. Saya sendiri hanya berdecak kaget. Wow, darimana ya si Gayus yang masih 30 tahunan itu bisa membangun istana semegah itu?

Benarkah itu tilepan pajak rakyat? Atau suap para pengemplang pajak agar cuma bayar pajak dalam jumlah kecil. Entahlah.

Yang jelas saya ingin berucap terima kasih pada Gayus, karena berkat kasusnya KPK, kepolisian, kejaksaan, atau para pengacara kondang bakal dapat job menggiurkan. Ya siapa tahu kecipratan 25 M!

Gayus, di tangan saya masih ada form SPT yang baru terisi separuhnya. Saya berencana menyerahkan form ini sebelum “D” day 31 Maret mendatang. Tapi hati saya galau. Sebagai warga negara yang baik saya biasanya taat bayar pajak. Karena saya sadar pajak itu akan kembali pada kita sebagai warga dalam bentuk layanan dan fasilitas publik.

Tapi, kelakuanmu Gayus, membuat saya dan juga pembayar pajak yang taat terluka. Apalah artinya laporan pajak saya yang 'cuma' beberapa juta rupiah ini, jika ternyata uang pajak yang mestinya disalurkan dikemplang pegawainya sendiri?
